Wholly Hearts
Stunning lightweight but deeply
textured handmade fine silver
(.999) heart earrings. These
earrings are suspended on my own
handcrafted Argentium sterling
silver earwires.
The earrings have been oxidized,
buffed and tumble polished to
emphasize the contrast between
the bright silver on the surface
and the oxidized silver in the
textured areas. These earrings
come with rubber stoppers for
added security and comfort.
Earrings based on a design by
Sherry Fotopoulos.
Total length of the pair is
about 1 5/8 inches from the top
of the earwire to the bottom of
the swinging bottom heart.
Earring card and organza gift bag included.
About PMC: after shaping, texturing and sanding I fired the hearts in a kiln at 1650 for a full 2 hours for the greatest strength. The finished product is 99.9% pure fine silver.
